5àsec is the World’s No.1 Dry Cleaning and Textile Care Expert since 1968. Before the opening, a specific training program was delivered to the whole team, in order to master the 5àsec know-how as regards textile cleaning, care and treatment services.
The Myanmar launch event of 5àsec was held at the Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon on October 7th, 2016.
A ribbon cutting ceremony and store tour was conducted at the flagship location on Inya Rd, Yangon, prior to the official launch event. Both events were attended by His Excellency the Ambassador of France to Myanmar, Olivier Richard, Economic Counsellor of France, Hubert Colaris and Commercial Attaché, French Trade Commission, Sarah Lubeigt.
The President of Group 5àsec and CEO of DCI based in Geneva, Switzerland, Nicolas Boucault and International & Franchise Managing Director of DCI based in Madrid, Spain, Marco Antonio Garcia Baile were also in attendance. ‘’Myanmar has been known worldwide for many years for the beauty of its landscape and its immense cultural wealth, epitomized by Shwedagon Pagoda and Bagan.
More recently the world has been attracted by its opening economy, making it today one of the most promising markets in Asia. Major multinationals have or are under the process of setting up in Yangon.
