Sky-high sips: ATLAS’ new chapter

ATLAS Rooftop Bar is set to shine bright next season with a new concept and cocktail menu. The soft opening of ATLAS will be held on 15 October.

Known as one of the most stunning spots in Yangon, ATLAS offers a 360-degree view of the bustling city, the river, and the twinkling Shwedagon Pagoda, making it a perfect place to watch the sunset and linger into the night.

The bar is now under the leadership of Nyan Htet Naing, former Beverage Manager and Sommelier of SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge. A highly awarded mixologist with international experience, Nyan brings fresh inspiration from his travels and bartending experiences across Europe. Partnering with the owners of SEEDS, ATLAS will welcome guests with a refined selection of crafted cocktails under the open sky.

Inspired by fine dining, ATLAS will introduce an innovative three-course liquid menu experience, priced at Ks60,000. Guests can enjoy selections from Nyan’s travel-inspired menus, including cocktails from his journeys through Germany and Spain. The menu also features high-volume offerings like the extraordinary “Bob’s Negroni” and a sparkling aperitivo selection. Cocktails can be ordered as part of the three-course experience or à la carte.

Guests can savour the refreshing “Yangon to Zürich,” a mix of gin, elderflower, lemongrass, cucumber, and bubbles, ponder life over a “Truffle and Green Tea Manhattan,” or enjoy a light-hearted moment with friends over the “ATLAS Spritz,” a pandan and gooseberry twist on the classic cocktail. Each drink promises a journey of flavors rooted in European techniques.

Complementing the drinks, a selected snack menu will be crafted by the chefs of Shwe Sa Bwe Restaurant and Training Center, located on the ground floor. Shwe Sa Bwe provides training and career opportunities to underprivileged local youth, preparing them for the hospitality industry.

ATLAS offers ample space for celebrations, whether for birthdays, parties, product launches, weddings, or casual gatherings. The team is happy to provide guidance and options to make any event sparkle against the Yangon skyline.
