On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, the French Institute will present “The Rabbit Hole Art Exhibition” in collaboration with four Myanmar artists.

The artists are Cameron Ralston, Thae Darli, Monrae May and Hennie. Yes, they’re all Myanmar artists. Some of them just use English names.

According to the event page, the artists attempt to regain the sense of “reflection” in their work. “Trauma” plays as a main character in the visual interactions of these artworks.

The event comes with this warning: “RESTRICTED CONTENTS CONTAINED FOR UNDER 17. UNDER 17 REQUIRES ACCOMPANYING PARENTS OR ADULT GUARDIAN”. Since it’s written in all caps, it must be taken seriously. Pay attention and accompany your children.
