The cozy, garden themed café is filled with soft natural light. Inside is decorated with a comfortable pillow filled swing, lampposts, colorful balloons, benches for talks, and cute chairs and tables. You can feel the grass below your feet, as if you were in a garden.
Aside from its sweet decorations, the eye-candies of this café are definitely Cupcakes and Albee. They are 3 years old, and 4 months old respectively and these adorable puppies are the most frequent guest of this café.
The owner of this café loves dogs and she usually brings her two youngest ‘babies’ to the shop. These puppies and the delightful decoration are the reason why this café is popular among young adults and even models and TV stars. The owner even said that Cupcake, her three years old dog, starred in a movie called Faraway as the pet of actor/model Khara.
Unlike a lot of café, Freedom Café allows you to bring your pets, and also have a gathering with other pet owners. Sometimes, the café brings in branded Dog food and accessories sellers with discounts and promotions. On days like this, the café provides a free dog professional photo shooting service with 3 free prints per dog. In addition, the café provides 20% discount if customers want to buy dog accessories.
One has to reserve before bringing their pets on weekends because it can real get crowded. Freedom Café allows for 10 dogs to visit in a session; there are two sessions on Saturday and Sunday: 1-3PM, and 4-6 PM.
The menu came with a limited range of dishes. However, I was told that it will be updated to more extensive choices.
I was recommended to try the signature Roasted Chicken with Rice (3,500MMK). The chicken was definitely tender and chewy, and was marinated well. However, I thought the rice was not my cup of tea, but it would be perfect to those who like a rougher texture.
The drinks menu has a variety of yummy smoothies such as the Infinity Beauty Collagen (2,500MMK), Goddess Matcha Soya (3,000MMK), and Be My Valentine (2,500MMK), Fairy Tales Garden (3,000MMK), Marry Me (3,000MMK), Endless Healthy Gift (3,000MMK) and more. They all have cute names, right? This is definitely the right place for dates or birthday party for your lover.
You can also order cold drinks with energy boosting ingredients. Power E Booster, for instance, includes Bios Life E and Plum. The names of these drinks make me want to try each and every one of them. I ordered Marry Me. The ingredients include Strawberry, Yogurt and Probionic. The juice mug was adorable that I had to take a picture. This place is perfect for those who like taking pictures of food for social media. It was such a treat for my taste buds because the drink was very refreshing, filling and also healthy.
You can also come to this café to take pre-wedding pictures, take picture with dogs, or celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. You can also rent the whole café for a special event with the price of 20,000MMK per hour.
I would highly recommend this vintage mini garden café because of its beautiful décor, sweet pets, and energizing drinks, and it’s just overall such a lovable café! I will visit this place again, maybe with my mom or aunt for a smoothie date. Ha-ha.
