The Philharmonic Orchestra of Thailand will be performing at the National Theatre of Yangon on 26th August. Tickets are free but are handed out on a first-come first-serve basis, so get book your place soon by emailing [email protected]
The event is being organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in Myanmar, the German Embassy and the Goethe Institut for the purpose of showcasing European classical and traditional Southeast Asian music. The night will start with traditional Thai and Myanmar music and will be followed by renditions of Beethoven, Piano Concerto Nr. 5 in E flat major, Op.73 and Pyotr Ilych Tchaikovsky, Symphony Nr. 5 in E minor, Op. 64.
