An Anthology of Burmese and Ethnic Language Short Stories For the past two years British Council Burma has been spearheading a unique literature program that supports freedom of expression and creativity in ethnic nationality language literature in Myanmar through short story workshops. This event will launch an anthology of short stories that arose from this work which will take place at the British Council Library on Sunday 27th September 2015 between 3.00 and 5.00 pm.Date : 27 September 2015 (Sunday)

It represents the first such collection of contemporary storytelling from the ethnic nationalities in their original script and reveals to the reader a world previously unread: hidden words from hidden worlds. Activities include readings from the book by selected writers and a question and answer session to learn more about the programme.

The event is open to all and non-members will have to bring their NRC or passport on the day of the event.
