The Yangon Circular Train was built by the British in 1954. Trains depart Yangon Railway station approximately every 45 to 60 minutes. It takes almost 3 hours to complete the journey. Trains make both clockwise (Right) and counter-clockwise (Left) journeys daily along the railway loop.
The National Museum ,, located in Dagon, Yangon, is the one of the national museum of Burmese art, history and culture in Myanmar. Founded in 1952, the five-story museum has an extensive collection of ancient artifacts, ornaments, works of art, inscriptions and historic memorabilia, related to history, culture and civilization of Burmese people.
The Sule Pagoda is a Burmese stupa located in the heart of downtown Yangon, occupying the centre of the city and an important space in contemporary Burmese politics, ideology and geography. According to legend, it was built before the Shwedagon Pagoda during the time of the Buddha, making it more than 2,500 years old. Burmese legend states that the site for the Shwedagon Pagoda was asked to be revealed from an old nat who resided at the place where the Sule Pagoda now stands.
This is the most famous landmark in Myanmar. Shwe Dagon Pagoda is the very first pagoda in the world and it has been standing at the center of Yangon for more than 2600 years.

Under the guidance of Myanmar Investment Commission, Air Kanbawza, otherwise known as AIR KBZ, was established in June 2010. The purpose of this establishment is to help the fellow existing airlines cater the growing demands of air travel in Myanmar. Taking off her very first commercial flight on April 2nd 2011, to this date AIR KBZ has unveiled 15 destinations altogether.

SilkAir(Singapore) Private Limited founded in 1976 (as Tradewinds Charters). It is a regional airline with its head office in Airline House in Singapore;previously it was on the fifth storey of the SIA Superhub in Singapore. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore Airlines and operates scheduled passenger services from Singapore to 52 cities in 14 countries in Southeast Asia, the Indian Subcontinent, China and Australia. In April 2017, it will commence flights to Colombo, expanding the network to 53 cities in 15 countries.
MAI has already had a long history of government run international air travel when MAI was founded in 1993 as a joint venture company between Myanma Airways and Singapore base company.
The running of the international airline really did not radically change until 2010 when the KBZ group attends an 80% share of MAI bringing in an era of sector and route changes. With the KBZ group acquiring 100% of MAI the future of the airline is definitely optimistic and encouraging. Effective from January 2014, MAI is the 100 % complete member of KBZ Group, Myanmar National owned private company.
With a new Management Team, new Airbus A320 aircraft with highly trained and competent
cockpit crew, better-trained flight attendants and Myanmar Civil Aviation Requirements & International Civil Aviation Organization operating standards. In July 2012, MAI signed agreement with Air France Industries for Maintenance & Engineering services, technical assistance on-site training and component support services. In September 2012, signed agreement with Sepang Aircraft Engineering an EADS Company for Airbus A320 Aircraft Maintenance Global support services for heavy maintenance. In April 2013, MAI has signed a code share and partnership memorandum of understanding with Korean Air and Asiana Airlines, in January 2014 signed a code share agreement with Malaysia Airlines and in November 2014 signed a code share agreement with Garuda Indonesia.
MAI flies between Yangon and Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Gaya, Guangzhou, Kolkata and between Mandalay and Bangkok. MAI started its charter flight to Korea and Japan in March 2013.
MAI is a member of the IATA Clearing House (ICH) and the IATA and a partner of MITA system. MAI is the only recipient in Myanmar of the IATA Operational Safety Audit Program (IOSA) Operator. MAI has been awarded “2014 ASEAN BUSINESS AWARDS“ as the National Winner (Myanmar) for Most Admired ASEAN Enterprise, ASEAN Centricity by ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC).
