SilkAir has such an interesting history, especially knowing it started as Tradewinds Charters back in 1976. I’ve flown with them twice connecting through Singapore, and what stood out most was how relaxed the whole experience felt — like a calm pause between busy places. With so many destinations across Southeast Asia, China, and Australia, it’s a great option for regional travel. One thing I always keep in mind when booking any airline is understanding How to get an airline refund just in case plans change. Life happens, right? Good customer support and clear policies make traveling feel a lot less stressful and a lot more enjoyable.
