The bar atop Yama Hotel on Bo Myat Htun was, apparently, a fixture of low-cost Yangon watering holes popular among local students with a relaxed vibe. Some old Burma hands had been awaiting its reopening after it closed more than two years ago, missing a rooftop bar on West of downtown. It reopened, as part of a revamp by Yama, last month with a more up-market vibe, offering a decent range of bar snacks, main meals, draft beers and
even a few bottles of fancy imported ciders, beers, and wines.
They offer Steak, Pasta and more entree dishes. ‘Steak Out’ is the premium dining destination for those craving for western cuisines.

Nice cool atmosphere inside. Staff was friendly. English speaking owner. Always a good choice of lunch at this lunch-only Japanese restaurant. Options are limited to 2-3 choice each day but they make up for it with a tasty and fulfilling experience. Ask for rice top up if your stomach isn’t filled up quite yet.

Now they’re currently opened the new branch at SOHO Bo Myat Htun Tower at Botahtaung Township. And the buffet price is only 9,900 Kyats per person. So its worth trying!
