Their kitchen is completed with the help of a Kamodoe Joe smoker where they prepare succulent Burgers, Smoked Ribs, Wings & Steaks as well as a traditional wood fired Pizza oven, enabling them to offer their famous Parami Pizzas downtown for the first time. They also offer a selection of Thai dishes, created by Matthew Albert, the former Head chef of Nahm London, the first Thai restaurant to be awarded a Michelin Star, using David Thompsons award winning curry pastes and specially imported ingredients for a truly authentic flavour.
Their talented bar team, helmed by American expat Jen Queen, has also created a intriguing cocktail list, highlighting the very best local ingredients in infusions, syrups & bitters as well as the what is one of Yangons’ finest collections of imported spirits.

Located on the first floor, Cafe @26 offers a hearty breakfast of Burmese and International cuisine to provide you with all the energy you need to start your day. All day dining as well as room service is also available throughout the day until evening.
Feel Myanmar has many branches all over town. A great restaurant to get acquainted with local cuisine, it is popular with both visitors from abroad and locals. There is a wide selection of local options and the seating area outside is always busy, giving a lively atmosphere to your dining experience, especially at the main branch when they have a live band playing!
The Garden Bistro is a very pleasant resaurant with peaceful outdoor setting by one end of Lake Kandawgyi. A great variety of food available, it is a good place for breakfast and also the place for dinner in the windy garden Kandawgyi.
The famous big bright yellow smiley face of Happy Cafe & Noodles can be found in quite a few venues in town. The most enjoyable setting is in the garden of the beautiful colonial building which shelters the inya Road Branch. Their patio is the place to go for some relaxing drinks and a couple of shared plates of Myanmar foods. Their menu focuses on Myanmar snacks, rice and noodles but offers Western options too (and cheap cocktails).
Papa Pizza has undeniably one of the best pizzas in Yangon. The specialise in New York style, thin crust pizzas. Baked in a fire oven, choose from their wide selection of pizza spicy beef, anchovy shrimp, New York slice, three cheese and more.
Aung Thukha is an excellent place to sample a range of Myanmar food: from rich, meaty curries to light, freshly made salads. The flavours are more subtle here than elsewhere, emphasising herbs rather than oil and spice. It is almost always busy, but manages to maintain a gentle, friendly service and a palpable old-school atmosphere, making the experience akin to eating at someone’s home.
Set in an attractive wooden colonial home, House of Memories is a one of a kind in Yangon. They dish out mostly Myanmar specialities but also have Thai, Chinese and Indian dishes. The main draw for many is that this was once the office of the country’s independence hero, Aung San, and upstairs, you will find a few artifacts from his time. Their balcony and garden are nice and breezy.
