This outlet of Paragon bakery is always buzzing with people ordering custom-made cakes: may your dream cake be shaped as Spiderman, Hello Kitty, a giant Minion or a Liverpool Football Club Tshirt, you can be sure that they make it happen (with more or less brio sometimes!). Even though the place in itself isn’t anything special, the taste and the reduced use of cream is what really counts.
This bakery in Yaw Min Gyi offers both international breads such as Farmer’s Bread and Dark Sour Rye while retaining some very Myanmar influenced favorites like Chicken Steam Bun and Puffs. The bakery looks stylish from the outside but don’t expect refined pastries such as traditional butter croissants or else you will be disappointed.
