Fu-Rin is a relatively new player in the field of the ever-growing Japanese restaurants in Yangon. They serve a buffet hot-pot for dinner nightly. For lunch they serve bento set-meals and have just started a delivery service. The Ginger Set Meal (4,000Ks) is a stirfry with pork slices that?s tasty yet not spicy ? good for the sensitive tummies. This comes with a side of Japanese coleslaw and rice is served separately. The Pork Cutlet Curry Rice( 6,500Ks) is the most yummy-looking amongst all with a bed of rice followed by a layer of curry and topped with battered pork sliced on top. The team (who shall remain nameless) were so excited we forgot to take a photo. The Curry Rice (4,000Ks) is exactly what it is ? a generous serving of Japanese-style vegetable curry (read: sweet and curry is mixed with flour) on top of a bed of fluffy rice.

One of the finest rooftop bar in Yangon, always crowded with locals and foreigners. Because of it’s view over Yangon’s City, towards Shwe Dagon Pagoda. They serve dinner, coffee and drinks and of course their signature cocktails are worth try!

And Vista Cafe is opening 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM there also.

Shabushi was first started by the Oishi Group in 2001 in Thailand. There are now 95 outlets all across the land of Smiles, and growing. Shabushi?s first outlet in Myanmar , a joint venture with CM Foods, a subsidiary of City Mart Holdings, opened in Ocean Shwe Gone Daing, in July. This marks the group?s first outlet outside of Thailand. Shabushi serves both Japanese hotpot and sushi amongst other Japanese cuisine. Your all-you-can-eat meal is limited to 75 minutes per seating with an option to extend.

The single high stools are good for those dining solo or as a couple. The booths are good for bigger groups.

The bar atop Yama Hotel on Bo Myat Htun was, apparently, a fixture of low-cost Yangon watering holes popular among local students with a relaxed vibe. Some old Burma hands had been awaiting its reopening after it closed more than two years ago, missing a rooftop bar on West of downtown. It reopened, as part of a revamp by Yama, last month with a more up-market vibe, offering a decent range of bar snacks, main meals, draft beers and
even a few bottles of fancy imported ciders, beers, and wines.

Renovated and recently reopened, Salud offers an array of Latino dishes in a bohemian and rustic setting. Bric-a- brac objects of art adorn a brush stroke interior of red, gold and green beneath bronze colonial ceiling fans and light shades made from recycled bottles. The ambience leans towards a fun night out. A dangerous collection of rum and tequila is stacked high behind the bar while salsa and dance set the tone.

Salud is a great venue for a fun night out with friends. The cuisine is satisfying and good value for money while the tequila and rum will have you swaggering to the bar for more.
