The spot where you can taste various tea and drinks with the quality at their best. The attractive decoration is perfect for photoholics to take pictures and the foods are definitely worth trying.
Authentic Taiwanese and a unique-to-Yangon Style of bread, that includes a vast range of flavored buns, such as ‘rose yogurt’ and ‘green-tea’; as well more standard and traditional loaves and flavors, that include chocolate and the more healthy whole grain and raisin. The ovens and kitchen are located behind glass, giving customers the opportunity to watch and observe the busy but brilliant bakers at work. The staffs are friendly and attentive; and the breads affordable-ranging from 1500-2500 Kyats.

While it is easy for most people to overlook it, Bawgawaddy is a hidden gem in Chinatown. Its cosy and simple atmosphere is welcoming to both newcomers and regulars. They specialise in Kayan food along with Danu and Taungyoe-influenced dishes. Its tea menu describes the percentage of condensed milk in one cup, so you can choose the taste according to your preferred of sweetness. Most Kayan dishes are hot and spicy. So, ask the staff to tone down the chilli unless you have an iron-clad stomach.
A popular spot in the trendy Yaw Min Gyi quarter, Aung Mingalar offers a terrific mix of Shan and local dishes. Also highly recommended are the fried dumplings.
