Lotteria is a very well-known fast-food chain. Many locals frequent here, and is a great alternative for those craving McDonald’s type of fastfood. Their bulgogi burger is highly recommended as well as their soft-serve ice-cream. But do not order the prawn burger…it is painly no good.

Set A is for two people and includes unlimited teapot refrill along with scones and cream, four different types of cake, two sorts of sandwiches and even a mini-chicken burger. Set B is for four people and is more or less set A timed by two. Ask to explore the house (including outdoor areas) before sitting down: it is full of hidden gems and each room has its own character.

The buffet held on Sundays by Sule Shan-gri-La provides many cuisines and treats. We regret the lack of vegetables and healthy options, and now that they have arranged the Kid’s corner, it doesn’t feel quite as premium as it used to.

The Muses is great choice for lunch or coffee. Decor is classic, it’s a lovely and quite place with outdoor seating.

There are two wonderful things about the Yangon Bakehouse. The first is that they are a social enterprise that train and educate disadvantaged women, the second is their fantastic food. There’s a terrific variety of baked goods; all made to quite wonderful standards.
