The food served in this Putao restaurant is mainly Kachin food, but they also serve a few Thai dishes. Their cuisine is made from plenty of greens and interesting potatos, and is then spiced with a Putao variant of the dreaded ?gullah-authee? chilis.

This bar features South East Asian foods taste with a modern twist. The atmopshere will please locals more than foreigners, but the nice owner, Tommy, would make anyone feel at home at Wild Ginger. The finger foods go well with the few spirits they have to offer and the BBQ lamb ($12) is worth the try.
With a name as ubiquitous as this, understandably there are many Mom’s Kitchen around the world, albeit unrelated to one another. The Yangon version, located next to Super One Shopping Center, serves Asian favorites, snacks and beverages. Regardless of whose mom this kitchen belongs to, it remains a popular pit-stop for a much needed coffee break before the shopping spree next door.
