With the general elections now officially announced for November 8, COVID-19 permitting, Myanmar is headed towards its first polls since the National League for Democracy-led government took office in 2016.
It is an opportune moment to look at the progress over the last five years. Infrastructural development is one significant and tangible change that people often use to measure economic growth.
