Calling all Italian food lovers for the highlight event of Italian Cuisine Week!
On Saturday, November 18, from 3 pm to 9:30 pm, indulge in the culinary delights of the great Italian Food Court at the Italian Embassy. Over a dozen of Yangon’s most prestigious establishments, including Melia Yangon, Seeds, L’Opera, Omnivore, and more, will be participating in this gastronomic event.
Bring along your family and friends to savour timeless Italian dishes such as pasta, pizza and lasagna paired with aperitivo cocktails or some of Italy’s finest wines brought to you by Cellar Door and Wine Link. As a dessert, treat yourself to a creamy gelato. This is your chance to explore many Italian delights in one place!
Your presence will not only be a feast for your taste buds but also a contribution to local NGOs supporting those in need. Each participant has reportedly pledged to donate a minimum of 10% of their event-generated income.
Admission is free but don’t forget to bring a photo ID. Let’s make this Italian culinary celebration unforgettable!
The cuisine week will take place from 14-26 November across Yangon, Mandalay, Bagan, Kalaw and Ngapali. During this period you can enjoy limited Italian menus at the selected restaurants. Follow the Embassy’s Facebook for updates.
