Join the Italian Embassy and Doh Eain for the “Drink and Draw” event on Saturday. It’s part of the week-long exhibition ‘From Calvino to Marco Polo to Yangon’ held from 12-22 October, celebrating the 100th birthday, life and work of the Italian author Calvino.

At this particular Drink and Draw event, participants will find a different approach, where dreams will serve as the inspiration for their artwork. Attendees will have access to a variety of art materials such as watercolours, oil pastels, pencils and collage items sourced from materials found around Yangon, all aimed at bringing the imagery of their dreams to life. The event includes complimentary art supplies and a drink to enhance creativity.

The exciting exhibition has garnered support from The Italian Embassy and Doh Eain, encompassing literary, figurative and urban planning elements. There will be a special emphasis on Calvino’s masterpiece, “Invisible Cities”.

This presents a unique opportunity to experience the fusion of art, literature, and urbanism. Don’t miss it! If you are interested in the event, sign up here for free.
