It’s mooncake season, y’all! As usual, Melia Yangon’s pastry team outdid itself by introducing mooncakes with various flavours including red bean, white lotus, durian, pandan and more. The hotel’s GM said in his speech at the press conference that “all mooncake paste and ingredients are meticulously imported from China to ensure an authentic and unparalleled experience”. Available until 30 September.

Pineapple fiesta at Novotel
Gourmet Bar at Novotel Yangon Max has introduced an enchanting balance of sweetness and tanginess in their pineapple drinks and desserts. From pineapple juice, pineapple pina colada and pineapple daiquiri to pineapple sorbet and cake, explore the ubiquity of this tropical fruit from US$4.

Dance with “Mama” of Zumba
Carolina Arias taught most Zumba instructors in Myanmar since 2017 and earned the loving moniker “Mama” from her mentees. Now she’s back in town and will headline the Zumba Party at Sky Star Hotel this weekend. The ticket price is Ks22,000 per head. If you’re a fan of the dance, this is your chance to learn some of her moves!
