HAVANA is back! One of Yangon’s favourite nightlife spots has relocated from Urban Asia Centre downtown to the bustling Sayarsan Road in Bahan. The new HAVANA is spread over 3 floors where you can enjoy live music daily on the ground floor, House or RnB DJs on the 1st floor (Friday and Saturday only) and a quaint little rooftop terrace on the 2nd floor if you prefer a bit of peace and quiet.
The drinks menu is packed with HAVANA’s signature house cocktails, including the beetroot-infused gin-based “Power of Red”, the “Tamarind Sour” and the famous “Rangoon Mule”, along with the usual classics and a unique dessert cocktail called the “Mexican Dream”, made with horchata (a Mexican cinnamon and rice-based drink) and laced with Rum, Baileys and Frangelico.
HAVANA also boasts a range of local draught beers, with Carlsberg, Tuborg and at least eight varieties of Burbrit Craft Beer on tap for you to choose from.
The food menu has taken a turn from Tacos, Nachos and other Mexican food to more local cuisine and a live outdoor BBQ and smoker operated by Two Shoes Seafood & Grill. The smoked pork ribs, boxing chicken and smoked potato salad are not to be missed! Taco fans do not fear, there are rumours that Tacos Guapos will be back for Taco Tuesdays in the near future!
Keeping HAVANA’s tradition, weekly Salsa classes will be held on Sundays (4 pm) and Thursdays (7 pm) at the 1st-floor cocktail bar. Bachata classes will be held on Mondays at 7 pm.
Sports fan? HAVANA also has a dedicated high-speed streaming service with 7,000 channels to enjoy your favourite sporting events on request free-of-charge. The all-new HAVANA really has something for everyone!
