A year ago, a historic dining event happened in Mandalay. For the first time in Myanmar’s ancient capital, Unique Mandalay Brasserie collaborated with Yangon’s flagship restaurant Le Cellier to redefine the meaning of fine dining at a dinner dubbed “The Luxury Table”.
It was the talk of the town, undoubtedly. Le Cellier’s Chef Htun Htun took over the Brasserie’s kitchen and served locally inspired canapes and wine, a six-course set menu and a luxurious dessert table.
With the success of the first event, a sequel is a no-brainer. This year, Chef Htun Htun passed on the torch to Chef Joseph of Awei Metta Hotel in Yangon. Besides his exquisite culinary creations, Chef Joseph is also known as one of the no-nonsense judges of Masterchef Myanmar. Now is your chance to judge his cooking for a change. 😉
The details of the menu are under wraps but you could expect excellent meals and drinks, creativity and showmanship of the celebrity chef and an overall good time. The tickets will be sold soon.
