New things we have noted

Immersion Myanmar is joining forces with Jojo Yang of Yangon Yoga House to deliver an ice immersion event combining a dynamic yoga practice with breathwork and of course, ice baths. The yoga practice will be accessible to all levels of practitioners including beginners. The fee is Ks50,000. Read details here.

Hidden gem restaurant we’re gonna visit

Swer is a restaurant that focuses on Mawlamyine cuisine. It serves local delicacies like Mawlamyine-style Mohinga, chicken and coconut rice wrapped in a banana leaf, and its signature dessert Bein Mont. If you don’t wanna try Mawlamyine food (although we strongly suggest you do), there are also Thai and Chinese menus.

Event you should check out

Kokkoya Organics will be busy with classes this weekend. On Saturday, the instructor Myint Myint Khin will teach how to make vegan Shan noodles. On Sunday, there will be a workshop on basic nursery skills you can apply in your own garden.
