Take your kids to Star City’s Night Market this weekend. Enjoy Burmese snacks, BBQ, desserts and Omnivore by Sharky’s Burger Bar. Firefly Band will entertain on 17 Dec and Santa Claus will be handing out balloons and candies on 18 Dec.

Promotion you can’t miss

Place we’re revisiting

Sushi Tei is one of the premium Japanese restaurants in Yangon. Now it’s also offering bento boxes for takeaways and delivery. We’re going to try the Japanese bento culture one of these days.

Educational event you should check out

Doh Eain, in partnership with the Embassy of Spain and the Virtual School of Architecture, will hold an exhibition of works by 24 up-and-coming Myanmar architects and architecture students. For three days, you will be able to marvel at the results of a series of lectures, masterclasses and workshops that saw the participants craft designs for public spaces that are both inclusive and accessible, while preserving the local environment.

Market experience at Time City

As the weather is getting better, Yangon has a flurry of market events these days. The three-day market organised by The Street will see dozens of local brands in food, cosmetics, clothing, etc. Feel the breeze and stroll down the market with your friends.
