New things we have noted
The floating market will be open for the first time at Jetty No 5 at the Botahtaung Strand near the Botahtaung Pagoda on 4 November. The 10-day market will see many vendors in ethnic costumes selling traditional products and food. Inle-style markets on the boats will reportedly be there. A can’t-miss opportunity for a refreshing shopping experience.
SheCreates’ first outdoor event
The first outdoor activity of SheCreates, the Creators’ Market, will be held on 6 Nov in the little green paradise of Kokkoya Organics farm in Thingangyun. Try food and drinks, hunt for handicrafts and take part in activities by the creators of SheCreates. Details are here.

Loy Krathong & Tazaungdaing Festival at Chatrium
The Tazaungdaing festival and Krathoung event will be celebrated together at the Chatrium Hotel for two days. There will also be a market where you can shop for arts and crafts, farm produce and lifestyle products. More info here.
