Have you planned your weekend? If not, check our guide. We’ve got two markets, a fitness programme and more!
New things we have noted
We saw this new miniseries on Netflix called “Devil in Ohio” in case you’re looking for something to binge-watch this weekend. It’s based on the novel of the same name, loosely based on a real-life cult. The plot explores the trauma and abusive pasts of Mae (Madeleine Arthur) and Suzanne (Emily Deschanal). Have you watched it? Tell us what you think in the comments.
Event you can’t miss
Another weekend, another event at Kantharyar Shopping Centre. More than 20 local brands will showcase clothes, cosmetics and fashion accessories at Mini Pwal Zay.
(9am – 7pm) 9-11 Sep | Kantharyar Shopping Centre
Place we’re revisiting
We’re revisiting Babett Yangon for its set lunch which includes an appetiser, a main course of your choice, dessert and coffee only at Ks19,900. To enjoy this much of French-inspired meals at this price is a bargain. It’s only served on weekdays from 11:30am to 3pm, so book fast!
Event we’re visiting
The second edition of Arts & Crafts event is happening this weekend at Novotel Yangon Max. Expect over 90 vendors selling homegrown food and handicrafts all proudly made in Myanmar. This is your chance to experience and network with local SMEs.
(11am – 4pm) 10 Sep | Yangon Ballroom, Novotel Yangon Max
