Have you planned your weekend? If not, check our list. Hope you find something that meets your interest!

New things we have noted

Incantation, a Taiwanese horror film globally released by Netflix, is become the talk of social media lately. With its engaging plot and thrilling found-footage approach, it’s not a surprise it became the top-highest grossing film opening in Taiwan in 2022. Have you watched it? Let us know what you think in the comments.

Food we’re going to try

What’s better than a simple, delicious PB and J for breakfast or evening snack with coffee? The NUT Butter is a locally produced cashew butter. They will host an evening market at The Central this Saturday and we gotta visit and try it.

Place we are revisiting

After 3 months of temporary closure, we are excited to revisit The Blind Tiger this Friday. We learnt that their new bar manager Lal Muan Puia will serve his award-winning Kalay Pop cocktail as a complimentary drink to all visitors from Friday to Sunday. Don’t miss it!

Event we will visit

Myanmar Women Entrepreneurs Network and Junction Square have jointly launched the Made in Myanmar Fair where many local businesses will introduce their products. This is also a place to be to connect and learn local SMEs.

(9am-7pm) 15-17 July | (Promotion Area, Ground Floor) Junction Square

Experience we plan

We’re going to enjoy a 3 hour sunset sailing on the exclusive Sanctuary Ananda with free-flow wine and tapas for US$40++ on 19 July (Martyr’s Day). We’ll dance to tunes by DJ Barefoot as we cruise the Yangon River in style. If you wanna join, be sure to arrive before 4pm as it will set sail on the hour. For more info, check here.
