The bungalow fees begin at Ks30,000. You can’t stay the night but you can stay until the farmhouse closes. TM Farm raises dairy cows so you can observe the milk production business. They also run a restaurant. The entry fee is only Ks1,000.

Just a few hours’ drive from Yangon, this 40-acre farm is the closest to life in the country. You can observe paddy plantations, fish at the nearby stream, and bike around. A four-person room is Ks150,000/day and each additional person will be charged an extra Ks35,000.

Nicknamed “38 Mile Inle”, this farmhouse locates at 38 Miles on the Yangon-Mandalay highway. You can take a boat trip on the Bago river, swim in the private pool and have hearty meals. With all these services included, a day trip is only Ks20,000 (9am – 5pm) and you can stay the night for Ks35,000 (9am – 9am). Don’t forget to bring your own sanitation products if you plan to stay the night.

Since it locates in Bago, you can make a short trip around the vicinity. With country houses, jungle houses and a pool, this place is an ideal getaway for couples and families. You can stay the night and the room prices range from Ks30,000-80,000.

Also known as the Bago Garden, this resort takes in only one group of guests at a time. Bike or walk in its 10-acre garden, picnic on the ground or meditate in a quiet place. You can also bring your pets. The prices are Ks9,000/person for a day trip (6am – 6pm) and Ks15,000/person for 24 hours.

This urban farm is just a stone’s throw from downtown Yangon. They don’t accept nightly visitors but you can learn organic farming, walk in the garden and drink coffee at a cafe open from Wednesday to Sunday. It also holds community events occasionally so follow its Facebook.
