“Art is you being free from all of the world’s heaviness”
Lately, we all have gone through difficult times and we could say only downs struck these days. Therefore, we used to be suffocated with a pile of resentful feelings. During those times, art can be your new and best answer and here’s a new space where you can experience it.
“Sculpt Studio” is an art space in Yangon where you could enjoy therapeutic activities such as diverse art and craft classes. It’s located on Strand Road, Latha Township, Yangon, facing the Yangon River.
Sculpt studio offers:
- Lotus leaf painting workshop
- Pot Painting workshop
- Wine & Paint workshop
- Polymer Clay Chibi workshop
- Polymer Clay Jewelry workshop
- Acrylic Painting workshop
- Pottery workshop for adults and kids
- Tibetan sound healing class
Some of those classes are rarely found in Yangon, especially in one area. Moreover, in-house instructors could take care of each student since all the classes are limited and the seats are subject to availability.
They use pre-booking and pre-paid systems for their sessions. The studio has classes twice a month and every class takes at least 2 days and four hours per day.
The fee for one single class can be around 130,000 MMK to 240,000 MMK. Early birds can enjoy a promotion.
The fee includes in-house meals and beverages. Beginners can join all of them without any anxiety and you just need to bring your passion.
Myanmar’s famous pop star, Bunny Phyoe collaborated with the studio and here’s the video.
So, if you feel like joining a class or need to know more information, you can contact directly to their number or Facebook page.
