Welcome to MYANMORE’s weekly letter! These are our personal experiences and recommendations around Yangon and beyond. Let us know yours in the comments.
New things we have noted
Ice N Chill is open recently. The purpose is to provide a space for friends to hang out and freelancers to work and arrange meetings. The room rates are quite affordable too.
Recipe we’re trying
We’d be trying to cook chicken and pickled tea leaves curry at the weekend. It’s pretty simple too. All you need is chicken, pickled tea leaves and a handful of ingredients. The cooking time is only around an hour. Here’s the recipe.
Place we are revisiting
Prime Grill is serving a buffet dinner 6pm to 9pm this Saturday. The feast includes more than a dozen of dishes and drinks at only Ks15,000/person. Book first to avoid disappointment!
Event we will visit
Novotel Yangon Max Farmer’s Market on Father’s Day is the event we plan to visit. There will be more than 30 vendors to visit and explore. Here are some details.
19 Jun | Farmer’s Market Time: 11am to 4pm
Brunch Time: 12pm to 3pm | Novotel Yangon Max
Check our list of dining promotions to treat your father to a nice hearty meal on Father’s Day.
Experience we plan
We love to stay active even when it rains. We’ll be at Climb O’Clock this Saturday. It’s a bouldering place where we can test our strength and let out some sweat. Check our guide to fun indoor activities if you feel bored at home.
