FROM ITALY FOR MYANMAR is the first of a cycle of concerts dedicated especially to the Myanmar people: an invitation to dream with the music written for the great cinema.

The artists of “Umbria Ensemble” will play for you some wonderful pieces composed by Oscar-winning musicians, such as Nino Rota, Ennio Morricone and Nicola Piovani. A viola (Luca Ranieri), a piano (Andrea Trovato) and a cello (Maria Cecilia Berioli) will guide you through the soundtracks of some unforgettable films directed by the great Master Federico Fellini, on the occasion of his birth centenary, and of other cult movies. It will also be an occasion for you to visit online the beautiful art city of Perugia, where the musicians will perform.

Watch on the Italian Embassy Yangon Facebook Page
SATURDAY 14 NOVEMBER, at 6 pm Myanmar time (12:30 pm in Italy).
