As an expat you often long for the convenience of shopping in Bangkok. A visit to IKEA Bangna (Bangkok) is a bless when you move into a new house, in addition to the salmon and meatballs of course… Many of us add extra kilos to bring back to Yangon all the convenient necessities of daily life that Ikea provides.
With COVID-19 a Bangkok visit is out of the question. Imagine our surprise when we found Pronto Services’ “IKEA Shop” in Yangon. Tucked deep into Golden Valley it is a bit tricky to find but the signage makes it easier than expected. Located in a nice villa you have an IKEA Style showroom, packed from floor to ceiling of ready-to-assemble furniture, kitchen appliances and home accessories, and many other useful things.
In fact, you don’t even need to visit their showroom:
- From home, we selected the items we wanted on https://www.ikea.com/th/en/ and sent the list directly to https://www.facebook.com/prontoservices/.
- They added on 25% and for that they made sure delivered and assembled.
- You pay half in advance and the rest on delivery. Deliveries come every week so give it two weeks to be sure.
Check out their Facebook Page for the latest arrivals and update https://www.facebook.com/prontoservices/
