After two months of lockdown, River Gallery has re-opened its doors and is open 10 am to 5 pm every day. Please come to visit us and enjoy beautiful artworks in our tranquil space.

With the COVID-19 pandemic still a threat to everyone, the health and safety of visitors and staff remain a priority. We ask the visitors to wear masks (we can supply if you don’t have your own) and there are hand sanitizer stations in the gallery.

Visitors can stroll through the gallery, viewing quality artworks from more than 40 of Myanmar’s finest artists. The Monsoon Madness sale is a great chance to pick up those paintings you’ve been dreaming of during lockdown. We are offering a 20% discount for purchases during this period.

We are proud to announce the addition of two new water-colour artists into the River Gallery family – Aung Thura and David Richards, a long-time resident of Yangon. Both of them draw inspiration from the cultural heritage of Myanmar, with their very distinctive styles.  Do not miss a chance to see these reasonably priced artworks that will reveal the elegance and quirkiness of the architecture of Yangon’s colonial buildings.

But if you are staying home, take a virtual wander around artworks by many of Myanmar’s finest contemporary artists by visiting the Artists section of River Gallery’s web-site. https://www.rivergallerymyanmar.com/artists

We hope to resume our program of exhibitions in October, circumstances permitting.
