Here are some very good news for candy and jelly lovers. You have probably see photos of this jelly buffet shop circulating on Facebook already. It has caught a lot of interest from people as a new “sweet” experience in Yangon.
Ms. Theint Theint, the owner of this small jelly shop, started this business as she couldn’t find anything similar in Yangon and wanted to bring something fun to people in Yangon.
There are over 28 kinds of candies, jellies and chocolates available, and sometimes the types of the jellies change from day to day.
So, this is how it works – When you arrive there will be some empty bottles that the shop provide. You pick one and then you can fill the bottle with various candles that you like. One bottle will cost you 2,800 Ks.
The jelly shop just opened in the first week of June but it has already been visited by a lot of sweet tooth lovers across Yangon!
It opens from 9 am to 8 pm and if you wish, you can also get delivery service of your favourite candies within one day. However, there is no Facebook page(!) or information online so you will have to navigate the old traditional way to find it.
