Myanmar’s different ministries have issued updates this weekend on the extension of the measures in place to control the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Ministry of foreign affairs has extended the entry restrictions for visitors from all countries till the end of July.
Myanmar Central Committee has extended its measures till July 15th. This means the curfew in Yangon from 00:00 to 04:00 (local time) is still on, as well as the lockdown in Insein township. Gatherings of more than five people, with exceptions for funerals and work-related necessities, is also still banned and face masks are compulsory in public places.
