Grab, a Singaporean transportation and food icon, will open its first GrabKitchen in Tarmwe Township in Yangon on April 10, 2020.
GrabKitchen will be opened as a multi-kitchen place that includes mini kitchens for restaurant partners to prepare their food, which you can order from Grab app. It will be a merchant platform for F&B partners of all sizes to expand their businesses during the pandemic and it is supported by Unilever Food Solutions and Heineken that are both Grab’s regional partners.
Regarding everyone’s convenience and safety, Grab makes its next step to provide delivery and takeout services to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 during Water festival holidays while at the same time, the government urged people to stay home as much as possible. Tomorrow, you can order different dishes from different restaurants in the list at the same time within the same receipt.
Myanmar is the 6th country that Grab has introduced its GrabKitchen and there are over 50 kitchens in Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and Indonesia.
The kitchen will be set up at Super Container Park on Dhama Darna Street in Tamwe Township. Hours are set from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Delivery services are now available for only four areas — Tarmwe, Thingangyun, South Okkala and Mingalar Taung Nyunt townships. There is no no minimum order and 2,500 delivery fees will be charged on each receipt.
