The Ministry of Health and Myanmar just reported that 21 people tested positive for the virus, bringing the total number to 62, on its Facebook page at 12:15 am on 14th April 2020.

According to the results from 123 individuals at the National Laboratory tested on 13th April 2020, 8 suspects from Insein General Hospital and 1 individual from North Okkalapa General Hospital tested positive for the virus. The rest tested negative.

Later, among 309 quarantined suspects, 21 people tested positive within a single day. All the conditions of the patients are doing well for now and they will be sent to respective special units under different hospitals. Authorities are tracing those who had contacts with the patients and they will be sent to quarantine units immediately once found.

Rumors say that the local religious cluster has at least 21 coronavirus cases and there could be more as some protestants went ahead with worshiping last two weekends ago despite a government order for social distancing.
