Friday
Tropical Night at The Penthouse
Put yourself in a warmer state of mind this Saturday with our tropical cocktails, Mediterranean tapas, and some “proper” music with DJ Eric on our “Tropical Night” dance party. Come for dinner and stay for the party. So lace up your dancing shoes (or boots) and do have some serious fun.
Every Friday, get down to HAVANA and learn the original Cuban Salsa with Maestro Rafael Navarro Gomez, direct from HAVANA. Each class will cover a variety of dance steps including Rumba, Cha Cha, Timba and Mambo. Entry is FREE however if you’d like to participate in the class, the cost is 10,000 kyats.

Supporting Ken Fan will be one of Myanmar’s leading Techno selectors, LIN. After being based on Koh Phangan for several years, playing many of Asias biggest Techno parties, Lin is now back in Yangon where he is a key part of putting Yangon on Asia’s techno map. Entry: 15,000 MMK.
Mar 14 – 16
The director of “Rashomon” is Akira Kurosawa, and the main actor is Toshiro Mifune. It is a Japanese black and white film, which won international film awards about fifty years ago. Due to my addiction from young adulthood, I painted some of the scenes from the film in honor of the director Akira Kurosawa and the film crew. It was in 2010.
Saturday
