The building at the corner of Pansodan Road and Merchant Street was engulfed by fire on Sunday morning but no injuries were reported.
The fire destroyed two floors, including the Kafe in Town on ground floor and the Hot Pot on second floor.
Rangoon Tea House just a few meters away was undamaged but closed while the building structure is being checked. Newly opened Omnivore was undamaged.
