Due to the ever-escalating COVID-19 crisis and following the most recent escalations in travel and quarantine restrictions in Myanmar, the Myanmar Irish Society sadly has decided to postpone the St Patricks 2020 events which is supposed to held on 21st March 2020 at Lecellier @Novotel Yangon Max.
The safety of our guests is of paramount importance for us, along with our responsibility as members of the wider Yangon community to now limit social gatherings.
Whilst there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar as yet, we must follow advice from the experts regarding social distancing at this time.
We trust everyone understands, to our guests who purchased tickets we will be in touch in coming days about a full refund or credit for the rescheduled event.
It is our full intention to host an event at a later date, which will be more enjoyable and free of worry for all, once the current public health concerns de-escalate.
