This sweet Persian beverage is loved by both young and old as a sweet refreshing dessert made with rose syrup, sweet basil seeds, milk and sometimes with ice cream to have after a meal. You can simply get Falooda at some random tea shops and restaurants. However, Myanmar’s most favourite one comes from Shwe Pazun bakery, one of the popular bakeries in Myanmar for many decades. You can choose a variety of sweet options such as Falooda, Kulfi, coffee and cakes. Falooda is probably the most demanding drink at Shwe Pazun and it is definitely a must try if you are having a sweet tooth.

The crepes at O’thentic are tasty but the suzette was not a Suzette. Shame that. At lunch yesterday at Namsu, Rangoon Tea House owned restaurant near the YWCA we had a sweet corn pancake with vanilla ice cream – bloody delicious as was everything there. There’s a grrat coffee shop called Mogok cnr of Bogalay Zay diagonally opp. the Secretariat, some of the best coffee and ice cream in town
Hi Rob, thank you for your feedback! We are always welcome to comments like this and sure, we will look into Namsu’s dessert menu to try it out. Best wishes!
My friends and I love pancake from Othentic. I usually go there on Thursday evening as They have special offer 50% off all sweet crepe. Yummy
