Yangon’s favourite pizzeria, Parami Pizza arrives downtown and so does its new menu.
Parami Pizza, known for its signature wood-fired pizzas, has arrived in downtown Yangon, on Strand Road, as a replacement for Port Autonomy under the same management. Despite its former outlets on Parami Road and Saya San Road, it’s a good new for Yangonites who live downtown. Last week, Myanmore had a chance to try its new menu – bar snacks, signature pizzas and cocktails.
Endless Summer, Parami Pizza’s spin on Sangria, made with wine infused using local fruits, rum & soda is a must-go for those who love a sweet and sour taste. Everyone’s favourite Whisky Ginger with a homemade ginger beer, is served with whisky & fresh lime on the top. Another signature, Chocolate Negroni with Gin, Campari & Vermouth Rosso is cautiously clarified with Milo in-house. All cocktails are priced between 7,000 – 9,000 Ks with Happy Hour cocktails available from 4,000 Ks, and special prices on Bawdar beer & house wines by the glass daily between 5 pm – 7 pm.

Whilst menus across the Parami group will be the same, Parami downtown features an additional bar snack menu with 10 tasty new bar snacks available (80% of which are vegetarian) priced from 4,000 Ks – 6,000 Ks. Our favourites included their insta-famous Fried Lasagna (6,000 Ks) with breaded, deep fried nuggets of Lasagna, and Pepperoni Pizza Rolls (5,000 Ks) with fried pizza dough filled with mozzarella, tomato & pepperoni.

Special pizzas include the Rubato (14,000 Ks), inspired by the Bee Sting pizza at Roberta’s in Brooklyn, comes topped with tomato, mozzarella, pepperoni & chilli infused Haven honey and for vegetarians, their new Pizza Noce – walnut in Italian – 12,000 Ks is topped with spinach, blue cheese & walnuts & is quite unique.

Parami Pizza is an absolute heaven for those who love pizza above everything else. With its cozy and cool atmosphere inside accompanying comfy lounges and cushioned couches, arcade games, beer pong and a 360-bar at the middle, won’t let you stop until your next party call comes in.
With an all new Brunch menu launching this weekend (available Saturday and Sundays 11am – 4pm) Parami Pizza downtown is sure to fill the gap in the Downtown market, with a la carte, and free-flow drinks packages also available.
Throughout February, enjoy Buy One, Get One Free on all pizzas every Tuesday from 11am-11pm (terms and conditions apply).
