Love & Craft Weekend – two big festivals are happening this weekend that you don’t wanna miss. Here they are.
Love is Love: Rainbow Flags Over Yangon River
Yangon Pride Festival 2020, organized by &PROUD, will be celebrated in Yangon from 18th January to 2nd February. Starting with Yangon Pride Boat Parade on 18th January, the festival is here for LGBTQs in Yangon to celebrate their love with performances of famous DJs such as DJ Mike, C-Thu and Mr.Y on 3 boats from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. You can also join Yangon Pride Thakin Mya Park from 24th to 26th January and Yangon Pride French Institute from 31st January to 2nd February, where there will be games, debates, parties and entertainment programs featuring famous artists such as Htun Eaindra Bo, Phyu Phyu Kyaw Thein, Ni Ni Khin Zaw and Ar-T. Yangon Pride Film Screening and Pride Olympics will also be included during the festival. So, celebrate and have fun together with LGBTQs while showing your love, acceptance and support for them.

Craft Beer Fest 2020 To Make Its Debut in Yangon
Good news for beer lovers- Craft Beer Festival 2020 is now here in Yangon, where you can taste 32 beers from 8 breweries. Craft beers from Myanmar, SIngapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Australia will be served at the festival together with dishes from famous Sharky’s, Bonchon Fried Chicken, Hotel Zealax Catering, Feel Restaurant and many more. You can also find special beers such as sour beer, New England pale ale, beer brewed with Myanmar rice and special beer brewed with 150-year-old recipe. The festival is held as a celebration of Burbrit Brewery’s 3 years anniversary and it will take place at Burbrit Taproom on 19th January from 12pm to 12am.
