Babett Eatery & Bar introduced its new menu; Calzones, oven-baked folded pizza from Naples, Italy. 

Last night, Myanmore got a chance to taste Babett’s new calzones menu and as expected, Babett didn’t fail to satisfy the consumers with its appetizing and toothsome dishes. Prepared using salted bread dough, Babett introduces 5 delicious calzone flavours: Original Calzone, Bolognese Calzone, Salmon Calzone, Spicy Seafood Calzone and Camembert Calzone. We tried calzones- Original, Salmon and Camembert. 

The crust is crunchy yet soft at the same time and the stuffing inside the calzone delivers a delicious taste of its flavour. A creamy Original Calzone with the savory taste of mushroom and egg oozing inside out of the bread, is a good choice for rich taste.

The second one, Salmon Calzone is stuffed with smoked salmon, cappers, tomato and mozzarella cheese. Its subtle and refreshing taste makes the calzone delicious and with the onion confit, the dish slightly compliments the taste of salmon.

If you are a cheese lover, Camembert Calzone with a rich flavor of tomato sauce and Camembert cheese would be a good choice since there is a great amount of stretchy and oozing Mozzarella cheese plus Camembert cheese. The acidity of the tomato sauce balances the cheesy flavour of calzone.

Moreover, Calzone is a kind of pizza that is folded so the stuffing inside doesn’t get cold easily even if it’s not consumed right away. Calzone goes together with sparkling wine, beer or Champagne that will satisfy your empty stomach.

These signature Calzones will be available at Babett all January and February for just at 18000 Ks so don’t miss your chance!
