Chinese New Year Festival Yangon 2020
According to the Yangon Region Government’s approval, the Fujian Chinese National Association will host the New Year’s Day Festival in Yangon on January 25, 2020. The event will feature live entertainment and lion dancers’ shows in Chinatown, Latha Township. Chinatown will be decorated with paper lanterns and photobooths. On the 25th and 26th of January, there will be a night market which features famous restaurants. The highlight of the year is the evening with a live performance of seven famous singers in the evening, with Chinese food, street food, and drinks.

What to expect in Chinatown (Latha)
Come the new year at Chinatown on Mahabandula Road that will erupt in fireworks and celebrations as revelers wave goodbye to the pig’s year and welcome the rat.
