E’Cucina, an Italian restaurant at Pullman Yangon Centrepoint, has received Ospitalità Italiana Golden Plaque, official recognition of authentic Italian restaurant abroad, from the Italian Chamber of Commerce in December 2019.
Ospitalità Italiana is a quality endorsement to certify authentic Italian restaurants abroad by UnionCamere, an Italian public institution representing the whole and extended network of Italian Chamber of Commerce around the world to uphold the standard of Italia hospitality worldwide.
Chef De Cuisine Nicolino Lalla said: “It is a great honour for E’Cucina to be recognised as the first authentic Italian restaurant in Myanmar within a year and a half of being in the industry. Since the inception, our aim is to create a new concept of an Italian restaurant that serves genuine and authentic Italian cuisines by using both local fresh produce as well as authentic and top-quality Italian ingredients. Ospitalità Italiana is an official Italian Hospitality Seal, and to receive this recognition from the Italian government that our restaurant represents the quality standards of Italian hospitality, it is a milestone for us.”
E’Cucina opened its doors on 19 March 2018. The restaurant has been inspected by the officials four times since then to ensure that the restaurant continues to maintain its quality according to the requirements to receive Golden Plaque.
