Art Journey; Twante at Pansuriya
The very first Art Journey starts with a boat ride to Twante Canal, which was being built to connect Yangon River with Irrawaddy River during the colonial time. A slow boat ride is probably the best way to take you to such a place full of nostalgic history with beautiful nature and help you to capture those mesmerizing scenery with drawings and paintings. Their destination is Twante where you can visit pottery workshop/business and enjoy the village lifestyle. After lunch they start with their painting session at Twante jetty till sunset and you can choose watercolor or acrylic in creating your art. Don’t worry if you can’t draw well, there will be three artists who will come along with them and guide you. They will also create their own paintings, so it’s a great chance if you want to watch and learn how a professional artist illustrates their artworks. By joining art journey, you will not only benefit a peaceful day trip outside of busy Yangon but also gain a wonderful experience in art creation.
The fees cover all transportation, meals and snacks, soft-drinks and painting materials. Please note that your reservation will only be confirmed once we received the payment.
