Opened in early July, Hush Hush is set underneath the ground floor dining area, where a secret submarine door leads downstairs to a world of pop hits and fancy drinks. As well as its own lavish signature cocktails, the establishment has an Asian fusion and Western menu. With your first order comes complimentary popcorn.
Deep fried taroDishes include Thai grilled pork neck salad (4,500 kyats), Greek salad (3,500 kyats), deep fried taro (3,000 kyats), and fried seabass with aromatic vegetable sauce (8,000 kyats). The chocolate lava cake with ice cream and banana (4,000 kyats) comes highly recommended from the bar’s manager and co-owner Swe Zin Aye.

For an even sweeter taste, try ‘My Treasure,’ a mix of vodka, blue berry, and apple juice. Or for something less flashy, there’s a selection of draft beers, mocktails and juices.
