Daw Poe Phyu on her passions, the background to her projects and why she started Save the Palms.
Daw Poe Phyu is a native of Mogok but instead of the Jewelry business, she choose a different path and went to university in Yangon where she attained a physics degree. After a successful career in the real estate business she wanted to give something back, which prompted her to engage with a number of donations-driven development programmes that cover education, employment, and tourism.
