On December 2nd the inaugural First Makers Market will take place in Karaweik Gardens. Welcoming a wide range of locally crafted goods from artisans you can have an chance to discover Yangon’s creativity – and get started on your Christmas shopping. Brands like ethical fashion label Yamin, social enterprise Amazing Grace, eco-friendly toothbrush creators Alala and up-cycling clothing project Swap Up Yangon will all be in attendance.
As well as craft stalls there will also be food stalls where you can taste vegetable wraps from DFresh and steaming hot rice flour pancakes.
The First Makers Market will be open from 4pm – 9pm on Sunday 2nd December at Karaweik Gardens, Kandawgyi Lake.
