Motoring enthusiasts from across the country are descending on the Pullman Yangon Centrepoint tonight for the hotly anticipated Myanmar Car of the Year Awards. Following on from the success of last year, DRIVE magazine welcomes 12 of the finest car brands available to buy in Myanmar to participate in the awards ceremony, which is set to become an annual event.
Welcoming a panel of seven expert judges from across Myanmar and neighbouring countries, the event is sponsored by Heineken, who are promoting their campaign “When You Drive, Never Drink” to raise awareness of the dangers of drunk driving.
Other sponsors include AAM, MIRadio, Marbled Black who are providing the food for the event, Brioni who have given a selection of suits to the DRIVE team, Centurion Auto, MacArthur’s, Luther, Auto Man, Enchant, StarCity and Pun Hlaing.
